The Fairfield Hotel is a value-for-money hotel which gives you comfort and convenience for your stay. Recently my husband and I stayed here for one night for a much-needed rest, after a full day of driving under the hot sun.
The Hotel
The moment I walked into the hotel’s cosy lobby, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The friendly staff at the reception desk made check-in a breeze. I booked a Standard King Room which is modest in size. However, the room is comfortable and functional, offering all the essentials needed for a pleasant stay.
The Fairfield Hotel Kuala Lumpur may not boast luxury, but it provides a comfortable and fuss-free experience. The room features a comfortable bed, a clean and modern bathroom, and all the necessary amenities for a convenient stay. There is a valet parking service provided for RM15 per day (multiple entries). Alternatively, you can search for roadside parking and pay with an app under DBKL.
Location & Surrounding Food
During our stay, we went to the next-door food court named KL Last Exit. We stumbled upon this food court on our earlier visit to the Chow Kit area when staying at Hilton Garden Inn (North). This time my husband ordered nasi kandar from Nasi Lemak Royale and I ordered grilled lamb. We wanted to order the awesome mango smoothie from the main beverage shop but they were out of mangoes (sad!). Instead, we ordered fresh orange and it surely did not disappoint!
The hotel’s location is a significant selling point. It is located in between two monorail stations, which allows you to get into KL easily. Situated near Chow Kit Road, a famous area in Kuala Lumpur, it provided easy access to a multitude of attractions, from the bustling shopping district of Bukit Bintang to cultural sites like the Central Market. This central location made exploring the city a breeze.
One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast offered by the hotel. The breakfast spread was diverse and well-prepared, catering to local and international tastes. It was the perfect way to start my day of exploration in Kuala Lumpur.
In summary, the Fairfield Hotel in Kuala Lumpur offers a comfortable and convenient stay for travellers looking to explore the city without breaking the bank. While it may not provide the luxury of some higher-end hotels, its warm and welcoming ambience, central location, and thoughtful amenities make it a practical choice for a memorable visit to this vibrant city.
This is my second time staying in Chow Kit area. The first time I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn (North) which you can read all about it here. Do check out my other posts on hotel selection in Kuala Lumpur.
